Government Growth

A couple weeks ago, Stanley Convergent Security Systems hosted a rooftop party in Washington, D.C. When I received my invitation, I knew I had to go.

Stanley President Tony Bylerly, is a good friend and a good host. His security group is growing, and now expanding into the well-defined government security space. Stanley CSS opened a new office in fine fashion.

“Not only is the government security space growing, but we want to grow with it,” Byerly said. “There is a lot of work in the government sector and Stanley is well positioned to provide keen insight and services.”

While it wasn’t a huge party, there were many government insiders in attendance. I chatted with several, who have been impressed with Stanley’s footprint of serving the government sector. The party was held on the rooftop of The Southern building, just a few blocks away from the White House.

“The expansion of the Stanley CSS Government Program to include a new office in The Beltway brings our program even closer to the government and high security customers,” Byerly said. “Our success in the government program comes from a balance of technology, compliance and operational excellence.”

Dan Myslewski, vice president of the government program at Stanley, will run the Washington office. He fully understands the importance of compliance, as well as the critical and sensitive nature of how customers must interface with government.

The Stanley government program is off and running, joining the company’s more than 75 other local offices.
